Introducing Think Pink Photography!
Celebrating Life, Supporting the Cause

YOUR CITY, STATE, DATE:

COMPANY NAME is excited to announce a new partnership with Think Pink Photography. Founded in October 2007 by Ohio Photographer, Tennille King, Think Pink Photography strives to help breast cancer survivors and their families celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory with a session after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient.

Think Pink Photography is a non-profit organization. Any profits Think Pink Photography receives through donations or various fund raising efforts are donated to the Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation - a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and assistance to families that have been touched by breast cancer.

Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as 20 finished prints from the session. They will also receive a discount off of any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.

I am very proud to be one of the first photographers with Think Pink Photography, and am anxious to get the word out about this amazing program. For more information, you can contact me, or you can visit the Think Pink Photography website at:

CONTEST! Pro Lens Wear!!

Win Your Choice of any bag from Pro Lens Wear!
http://prolenswear.blogspot.com/

Think Pink will run various contests with prizes to thank our Network for their hard work! Keep on the lookout for some of your favorite photography vendors giving away prizes in the months to come!

Help Think Pink Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month with our October Network contest!
While donations for referrals and template sales are accepted throughout the year, I won't often ask for contributions outside of the Partner with a Photographer program (unless your little heart desires to do so). However...

I thought we could kick off Think Pink by showing our financial support this October. How wonderful it will be to present the Beverly Family Foundation with our donations!!

Contest Details:
The photographer that generates the most funds for Think Pink will win their choice of a bag from Pro Lens Wear. Deadline to make online donations is October 31, 2007 at midnight EST. Mailed donations must be RECEIVED by October 31st.

What donations count for the contest?
  • Any personal donations from the photographer are credited to the photographer for this contest. (Tax deductible receipts are sent out on a monthly basis.) These donations can include the Partner with a Photographer donations or your own personal contribution.
  • Your family, friends and clients can contribute - if they mention your name in the notes section of their donation. They will get the tax deductible receipt, but you will get the credit for this contest. (You can phrase it, "Be sure to mention you were referred by XXX in the notes of your donation.")
Get creative!
Spread the word on your blog. Tell everyone about Think Pink and encourage them to sign up for the newsletter and make a donation. Create an email that asks people to forward it on to others in their address book. Funds help the cause, but awareness and spreading the word in general is SO important. Print cards to give people. The possibilities are endless!

Any donation is so helpful - even small ones - because it really does add up. Right now there are 106 of us in the Network. Imagine if we each donated $10 - right there is $1000 to the Beverly Family Foundation!

Thanks and good luck!

Showing the Live Laugh Love Collection

If you want to see the blog entry that I published showing the Live Laugh Love Collection to my clients, you can view it here...
TEMPLATE BLOG ENTRY

If you are going to post your own images and want to do it like I did, here is the link to the jpeg to show the other colors of templates...just right click and save to your computer.

Here is the text I used if you want to copy and paste. (You will see that I showed examples of the boards and notecard on the entry with my pricing.)

One of the ways that photographers support Think Pink Photography is by offering the Live Laugh Love Collection - two storyboard styles and a folded notecard. These storyboards and notecards are available to any client that books a session with Tennille King Photography. When you purchase from the Live Laugh Love Collection, I will make a personal donation to Think Pink Photography.

To support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I am offering these products to any past client without charging a fee to upload your previous gallery and choose your images. If you are interested, simply send me an email at info@tennilleking.com and I will be glad to help!

Have questions, just ask!!

Introduce Think Pink to your clients

This is what i posted on my blog (it also goes out in an email newsletter)...feel free to use this if you like...

**You can start out by mentioning a new organization you have joined...here are the details I posted.

Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a non-profit organization that serves two main purposes - celebrating life and supporting the cause.

Through our photography network, we are helping breast cancer survivors and their supporters to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions.

Through donations and various fundraising efforts, all profits from Think Pink Photography will be donated to The Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.

As Think Pink Photography grows, so will the opportunities for you to become involved and support this important cause. I encourage you to sign up for our newsletter (on the Think Pink website and Think Pink blog) and tell your friends and family about Think Pink Photography. Awareness is everything and we can't be successful without you.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I encourage you to view our website, make a donation, or hire a photographer that supports Think Pink Photography! If you hire me, mention Think Pink and I will make a personal donation to the organization. And ask me about the Think Pink Collection for storyboards and notecards - I'll post samples on another blog. With a purchase, I will also make a personal donation!

Download Welcome Kit UPDATE

I know some of you were asking about wording. You can use anything from the site, blog, welcome kit, etc. But I realized that the site is flash, and the welcome kit is a pdf. So I've put together an update to the Welcome Kit with some additional tools. These will be included in Welcome Kits for anyone that signs up after today.

Also, the banner.jpg was included in the Welcome Kit (it says Participating Photographer for your website or blog). But I am also including the regular logo in case you need it for promotional purposes.

Welcome and THANK YOU!!

I don't even know how to start thanking all of you. Within 5 days of opening the enrollment to our network, I've had 75 members join from 6 different countries!! What a fantastic start!!

I'm hoping this blog will be a place to announce and provide information to all of you. In addition, please post on these entries - questions or whatever. I'm here to help in any way I can, so please just communicate and give me feedback! It may help to post your questions here in case others have the same question or thought. But of course, you can always email me at info@thinkpinkphotography.org if needed.

You should have received your Welcome Packet information at this point. Please read through and let me know if you have any questions.

Also few things to point out:
  • DO NOT sign up for the newsletter on the Think Pink blog or website - you will receive both the mailings for the Photographer Network and the mailings the general public receives.
  • Please double check the Network listing - that was a lot to type and I'm sure I made mistakes. Please check the spelling of your information, the location, and that your link works properly. Email any changes to me rather than posting here please - will just help my workflow to have it all in one place.
  • I'm responding to emails quickly at this point, but my photography business is also very busy this month. I should be able to reply within a day, but if you don't hear from me after 3 days, you may want to contact me again in case the message wasn't received.
I can't thank you all enough - this REALLY isn't possible without you.

Tennille King
